Storms

We has severe thunderstorms last night for the better part of 2am to 6am. My room mate and I stood in the doorway watching the lightning fill the sky. We both went to bed around 6am. Was a rough night and still suffering from lack of sleep.

Special

I have a VERY special mom. I got a care package of bits of fudge today. I (reluctantly) shared a few pieces with my friends. Keith said that is was close to Mackinac Island fudge. I will take that as a complement for my mom even though I have never tasted Mackinac Island fudge. Have to send the packaging back so I can get some more.

I have several friends that I have made here. Keith is probably my best friend here. He is from Michigan (lower peninsula) no where near anything. He calls Coke a pop. We have an ongoing battle over those words. We have differences but work well together. We get on each others nerves but know how to deal with it. Make fun of the other one back, or laugh about it.

Anyway I am rambling. Just want to thank my loving mommy for sending me fudge.

Study

Helping a friend study at his place. Been a while since I have helped somebody study. He has a nice little porch we sitting on to study. Beautiful day after some rain the past few days. Wish we could have class outside but it will never happen.
